NYC

P and I snuck away to NYC for the weekend a couple of weeks ago. We had 3 days in the big apple, and we saw a lot!! I loved pretending like I was an urban dweller for the weekend...riding the subway, checking out local favorite restaurants , and acting like I had a clue about where I was at any given time (sooooo many stops on the subway, I couldn't keep up.) Anyway, here are a few sites we got to see....

Our hotel was in Times Square, in the middle of all the action. No dull moments here for sure!

Ground Zero Memorial...this wall was amazing to me..full of pictures of those missing from 9/11. There were 3 more just like it.

This was a pink mini-cooper limo with a hot tub in the back. It was parked outside of our hotel one night as we were leaving for a show (we saw Phantom and Mama Mia) Hmmmm, I just don't see these in St. Joe.

Little Italy...yummy. Here we ate plenty of gelato, cannoli, pizza and homemade pasta. And that was just for dinner.

St. Patrick's Cathedral..where we went to mass....
We toured NBC studios, I didn't see anyone famous. Dang.

Ahhh, Lady Liberty. What a sight!!!!!

We went to the top of the Empire State Building at night for a bird's eye view of the city in lights....
A view of Central Park from our carriage ride. We stopped at all of the celebrity hang outs...didn't see one!

The Upper West side

One thing for sure, we couldn't wait to get back home to these three nuggets and give them their souvenirs and big hugs and kisses.

Meggar and I are giggling over the Pink Limo. Can we rent that for Prom?! Wouldn't really need a hot tub if you're already wearing a formal dress...
