About 6 weeks ago, Perrin and I attended a fundraiser auction for our local art museum. Among other things, we bought 2 hours of interior design services by Jen Bertrand. Know who she is? She was the Design Star Winner (a reality-show competition on HGTV for interior designers) of 2008! The winner was announced just last month.....when we purchased this package at the auction, we knew she was one of five finalists. Several weeks later, she won the competition, and will have her own show on HGTV! And she's coming to my house! I am really excited about her coming..and...she called me on Thursday to set up a date. She left a message on our answering machine. I must confess, I have listened to it several times.
